World is Mine

Earlier yesterday Mikatan updated her blog with preview images of the 1/8 scale World Is Mine Hatsune Miku figure by Good Smile Company, which is scheduled for release in September 2009. And as you can see she will be coming along with a nice wooden frame as a display base. She’s retailing at about 8,800 yen, 1,000 yen cheaper than the BRS figure. Although, Hobby Search is currently selling it for 8,000 yen. For more images and a new advertisement that came with it, read on!

Reservations for the WIM Hatsune Miku is now officially up and the figure will be retailing for 8,800 yen. Miku looks simply lovely in that post and it would be difficult not to get her. I’m considering of pre-ordering it, since it looks way nicer than the BRS figure in my opinion. This time round there’s two wooden frames to choose from, brown or natural and you can view the images below.

Now what makes the wooden frames interesting is that you can also use the frame to display Miku as a wall-mounted decoration, just think of it as a 3D photo frame. 😉 Here’s a picture below showing just that.

Good Smile Company sure is getting more creative with the figures, seeing as this is the first for a figure to be able to be mounted on a wall. And for those of you interested in getting the figure, you can pre-order it at Hobby Search for either the brown frame or the natural frame at about 8,000 yen each instead.
