PlayStation Vita Hatsune Miku Limited Edition Unveiled

Today, SEGA, Crypton Future Media and SONY unveiled two special PlayStation Vita bundles for the upcoming PSV version of NEXT HATSUNE MIKU Project DIVA. The official website gives an overview of the specs and pricing. The limited edition bundles includes a special Miku-decor Vita in addition to the game itself. The Vita will have a special illustration on the backside touch panel as well. A 3G/Wi-Fi model comes in at 39980 JPY (tax included, around 500 USD) whereas the Wi-Fi only model comes in at 34980 JPY (tax included, around 438 USD). Both will only be available in limited quantities starting August 30. The 3G model comes with a prepaid data plan SIM card that gives 20 hours of usage over a 30 day period. The bundles essentially add 10000 JPY to the normal price of a white VITA in exchange for the customization to the console, a designer protective film, a designer AR card, a 4GB memory card and of course the game itself. SEGA’s blog pointed out the AR card at the end but refused to comment until a later time about its relationship to the game.

  1. Some inaccuracies here.  It says the bundle comes with a 4GB memory card, but that is listed separately from the game and it doesn’t say anything about the game being on the card.  I would expet the game itself to be on its own card.

    1. Oops, I had it the right way around and then “corrected” myself by skimming the text description on the official site too fast.  Thanks for pointing it out and it’s fixed now.

  2. preorders closing up soon and limited availability. order now or miss it.
