With a week left before Utatane Piko’s release it seems the official site is finally up now and the trial version of the software will be made available for download. For more information do continue reading as always!
Piko’s recommended tempo would be between 70~150 BPM while his recommended range is C3~B4. Do take note that the trial version will only be available for 5 days from the day of install and you cannot save the VSQ data (however you can export to WAV). Also, there are two midi files available on the site for download for anyone interested, titled “Story” and “Forget-me-not”.
Important note: Do not repost or distribute the sound files created with the trial version of Utatane Piko, be it for commercial use or not.
Utatane Piko is expected to be released on December 8th 2010 at a price of 15,000 yen (tax included) and you can pre-order the software over at Sony Music Shop.
