Miku goes snowboarding
Crypton Future Media, developer of VOCALOID software such as Hatsune Miku, has now joined the sponsor list for TOYOTA BIG AIR 2012, a “big air” snow-boarding competition held in Sapporo annually with Toyota (of Japan) as its major backer. As a result, Miku will be used in the promotion of this event, in both static advertisements throughout the Sapporo subway system and in a stamp rally event they are running. Starting on January 7, they will be handing out empty stamp sheets (with Miku artwork, of course) to the first 10,000 people who show up. They then have until February 5 to visit each of the locations indicated on this stamp sheet and get them stamped. The first 1000 people who complete the stamp rally will then receive a Miku-themed ticket set to the snowboarding event. There are also a limited set of 3000 of these entrance tickets for purchase as well.
That’s awsome. I just hope Miku could see all this.
awesome!
