Now… where did our new recruits go? Descent87 did a pretty decent job (please excuse the pun) with his first artcle, why did he stop posting? Hey, descent, if you come back, I’ll let you take next week’s VocaRan review for a spin! And boy I’m telling you, this ride is schweeeeeet~!

An announcement from me here, owing to personal reasons I will be away from Vocaloidism for three weeks starting from next week (July 26th) onwards. I will be back in mid Aug when things are done, though I may still be on from time to time during that period.
Anyways, enough for that coercing, let’s just get to this week’s ranking.

DECO*27 has certainly created a winner in this latest GUMI song, good animation together with GUMI’s quality vocals makes this another instant GUMI favorite as well. Did anyone else spot the split second of YowaGUMI in the PV? I thought that was pretty cool.

I need money…! Is the way many of us are feeling now! Here’s more CD news. A VOCALOID x ROCK -filled compilation album “VOCAROCK collection feat. Hatsune MIku” will be released on July 21st from FARM RECORDS.
As we face the end of the rainy season, there will be all sorts of events coming up, like the Summer Comiket. Everyone, please take a few minutes of caution to make sure you stay healthy and safe.

Final Thoughts/Analysis:
Well, GUMI finally got a number one song… and it almost beat WEDH in points! I’m really, really happy about this. I hope for more successful GUMI songs in the future– ones that get the number one slot they deserve (cough16bitwarzcoughkimishiracoughyowamushi).

Nevermind about the Wednesday thing, I don't even know where I got that idea ._.
What kind of spotlights are you thinking of doing? I am personally going to try working on a mix of genre and composer spotlights, if you do some things like that as well it would be awesome and give people another avenue to discovering new things.
I wanted to focus on more unique and underrated songs that never made it onto the Vocaran. They wouldn't necessarily be new songs.
That reminds, I have a great idea for the Vocaran commentary. Why don't each of the editors pick their own personal pick-up from the songs that didn't make it into the top 30? They could link to it and explain why they chose it. It wouldn't necessarily have to be a new song though preferably it would be, since that's what the official Vocaran editor does.

About Wednesday: I do! I do!! It was my slip up on 144's VocaRan translation. I somehow translated Monday as "Wednesday". I don't know how. *bashes head against wall repeatedly* I realized my error later and fixed it, but you probably saw it when it was Wednesday and it stuck like that. So sorry!! m(_ _)m

Sorry to flood you guys with comments but I have a random question: how are the points for the NND ranking and Unselected ranking figured? I get that NND ranking is anything with a Vocaloid tag and that Unselected is the stuff that can't be put in the Vocaran like utatte mitas but I I'm just curious about how they're ranked.
I saw France….I laughed so hard when I saw France XDD That's hilarious, I think AxisP is one of my new favorites! I like his other songs too.

I've always wanted to be one of those informative people posting blogs on Vocaloidism and making snarky comments on VocaRan.. But this is the place I get news in the first place, since I can't read or speak a drop of Japanese.
