  1. I've been listening to Roshin Yuukaia dozen times and can't tell if the use of the append is better than the original voicebank =/. Are you hearing the difference ?

OTOH, I'm still impressed by the work and these demo, this bode very well for Miku english as long as Crypton can deliver the same quality.

    1. Very faint. BUT that is probably because it's outside the recommended vocal range/edited that way?You pretty much will hear very little differences between Act 2 and Append (except Len's which expresses so much more quality than previous voice banks)

I think the original sounds better—-because it had that something that the append doesn't.
      Spunk? Power?
Annoying shrill? (my money is on this ;D )

    2. In this version, all I personally heard was:

PITCHBEND PITCHBEND PITCHBEND PITCHBEND PITCHBEND PITCHBEND PITCHBEND PITCHBEND PITCHBEND PITCHBEND PITCHBEND PITCHBEND PITCHBEND PITCHBEND PITCHBEND PITCHBEND PITCHBEND PITCHBEND PITCHBEND PITCHBEND

…So no blame is given if you like the original version. Wait for the Appends to be released and someone to actually make it much nicer with the different Appends.

    3. There's one important pint, though, is that the demo songs have no change in curves or dynamics (etc…) whatsoever.
Provided that the originals have been made properly with all the curves, and the demos are just the notes themselves, it's most likely that when the songs are made properly it would sound much, much better than the demos .

  2. The remakes sound amazing—-the voices are definitely sampled with such high quality!

Sad to say this, but I kind of miss their robotic flow. Rin/Len were always criticized for having terribly robotic sounding voices despite being Vocaloid 2 era products. Len especially for being hard to work with.

I hope they are easier to work with this time around (and harder for VSQ stealers on youtube to pirate).
I can't wait to hear what other songs remade into "Append" mode sound like. (if they decide to do so)

  3. Awesome! I really liked the demos! ^o^ I liked Len before but now he seems more..mature? ๐Ÿ˜‰ BTW the picture at the top makes them looks so COOL!!! I like their Append costume then their other one!

  4. I can tell a difference, but I think with most of those samples they wanted them to sing in the same tone as they did in the original song, so it's hard to tell. Len can hit low notes better, Rin has a bit more depth in her voice (at least that's how I can describe it) and they both sound much clearer with better pronunciation.

  5. OMG Len sounds so much older ๐Ÿ˜€ thats awesome but im not too sure about Rin's power append….idk if it sounds better to me or not but either way I like it :3

  6. Love append cold for len…!! He sounds matured but I hope after this producers won't neglect Len's shota voice.. Hahaha

  7. It’s just my guess but…I think there is an “uncanny valley” effect there too oO
(google it if you don’t know what I’m talking about)
