New Project Mirai Trailer

Hatsune Miku and Future Stars Project Mirai

Yesterday, SEGA released a new trailer for the upcoming 3DS game Project Mirai. Click through to see the video!

In the trailer, DECO*27’s “Yume Yume” is used as the theme, and will also be the opening song for the game. We also see a preview of gameplay which seems similar to Project DIVA, but with a refreshing new touch. The trailer also shows Miku’s room, where you can interact with her. Miku’s room will likely be customizable in the game.

The trailer also shows us many new songs that will be included in the game. Some of the already well known songs have recieved new arranges or new vocals using the Append versions of the respective Vocaloid. Among some of the songs featured in the trailer are:

  • Girl of Evil
  • Servant of Evil
  • LOL – Lots of Laugh
  • No Logic
  • Matryoshka
  • Sing & Smile
  • Melancholic
  • PIANO*GIRL

Project Mirai is scheduled to be released on the 8th of March in Japan. It will cost ¥6,090 for the standard version, or ¥7,140 for the limited edition version which comes with a Hatsune Miku Nenpuchi. It is available for preorder at AmiAmi, Amazon.jp, and PlayAsia. Note that the 3DS is region locked, so you will need a Japanese 3DS to play this game.

    1.  There are currently no plans to sell this game in America, and even if you do pre-order it and import it, you will not be able to play it as the 3DS is region locked and will not play games from another region (US 3DS can’t play JP games)

      1. you can….the  nitendo3ds its easy to hack like the old nds
you can download  the game…i know its illegal, but this is the only way.

please buy the game and then play the game on the hacked console

  1. So cute! ;w;

Damn 3DS and its damn region lock. I want to play this game, but I don’t want to have to buy another 3DS. Oh how happy I would be if this came to the US…which I doubt would ever happen, but I can still dream right? :<

  2. I think we all know this game is going to be a smash hit when it releases. So many 3DS’s will be sold just to play this.  Well, in Japan that is 🙁  If the response to the Google Chrome ad was any accurate indication of how many people are paying attention to Vocaloid worldwide, they should be planning an international release.  Then again…who knows.  I hope they do.

  3. What was the song playing during what looked like a Upsidedown Rainbow PV? I’ve been trying to find out forever, it’s so cute. 🙂

        1. Song is called “Watashi no Jikan” (私の時間) or “My Time”.  Made by  Kuchibashi-P (くちばしP)

  4.  “A Japanese 3DS” That last sentence, is there a difference from the 3DS’s over there in Japan from the ones here being sold in America?

    1. Each region of the system is locked to play only games from that region. So a Jp 3ds can only play JP games while the US system can only play US games
