The Tokyo Wonder Festival (commonly known as “Wonfes”) is an event held twice a year, which features garage kits and upcoming figures. During the last Wonfes, Good Smile Company and HOBBY STOCK let us have a peek at some upcoming Vocaloid figures. Read on for information and pictures!

Firstly, let’s have a look at the upcoming Append Nendoroid Petits. For those who are unaware, Nendoroid Petits are smaller versions of GSC’s standard Nendoroids. Although they are more portable, they are usually less customizable and posable. Here’s Miku, Rin and Len’s Append boxart in Nendoroid form. So far, only the unpainted versions have been revealed.

Here’s Nendoroid Kamui Gakupo, our beloved samurai Vocaloid from INTERNET Co.,Ltd. This Nendoroid will be a full sized one, as opposed to the Nendoroid Petits we saw above. Again, this Nendoroid has not been painted yet.

To round off the Nendoroids, here’s a preview of GUMI (Megpoid), also from INTERNET Co.,Ltd.

Next up is a Luka figure. This figure is based of Tony Taka’s illustration of Luka. Many of you may also know Taka as the artist behind this figure.

Lastly, we have a 1/8 scale figure of Cheerful Miku. Last year, GSC held a competition to decide on the figure’s design.

The next figure wasn’t presented during Wonfes, but rather during the 63rd Sapporo Snow Festival that ended on February 12. The Nendoroid Snow Miku : Fluffy Coat Ver. is based on the design that won the SNOW MIKU 2012 contest co-sponsored by piapro and GSC. It is available for pre-order on GSC’s international website, and it will cost 4000 yen (52 USD, 39 EUR).

Two new figures have been revealed as part of the Mikumo Original Collection by HOBBY STOCK. The first of the two is the Mikumo #5 Original Collection Traveling Mood Hatsune Miku, based on whoo’s song (YouTube mirror). It will be released in April, at the price of 3939 yen.

The second of the pair is the #06 Yume Miru Kotori Miku, based on Hayaya-P’s song (YT mirror). It will be released in May.

It’s great to see a bunch of new Vocaloid figures from GSC and HOBBYSTOCK. It’s also especially nice to find some of the non-Crypton Vocaloids in Nendoroid form! What do you think, readers?

  1. Will there be a TonyTakaTakoLuka (say it 3 times, fast)?

Ignoring my bad attempt at humor … One Tony-version Luka (FINALLY a good 1/8th of her) and a Gumi Nendo, pleeeeeeze (I’ll probably do the Gakupo Nendo as well).
