Hey everyone, it’s been pretty quiet lately, but here are some of the latest happenings in the Vocaloid world! Miku’s 5th anniversary is coming on the 31st of August, so let’s see what’s in store for us!


In celebration of Miku’s upcoming anniversary, DECO*27 and sasakure.UK have collaborated on a new song, titled 39 (Thank You). Other well-known producers such as 40mP, scop, kous and whoo also contributed to the song. The song’s PV was designed by akka.

The fashion and clothing company known as earth music&ecology has come up with some Miku-based merchandise such as shirts and dresses, featuring art by chamooi. Check out their online shop to find out more!

Sony will be releasing a limited edition version of their Walkman S series, featuring Hatsune Miku. It will come in two colors, black and blue. In addition, the song “Hoshi no Kakera” will be preloaded. It was available at Sony’s online store, and was priced at approximately $160 USD. Only 3939 models are to be made, each with a unique serial number, but have all already been reserved. The first batch of sales is scheduled for mid August, with the rest coming later in the month.

Lastly, SEGA has released details of many more preorder bonuses to come with Project DIVA f. There are many different bonuses along with art by a wide range of artists. Check them all out on SEGA’s site!
