Before I start, lemme just apologize for my erratic behavior during the previous ranking review. It’s not that I suddenly hate all the mainstays in the WVR, but the fact that fans would do such underhanded tactics just to keep them on top just makes me wonder that the rankings really is all about… MELTDOWN […]
It’s official: MELTDOWN is never coming back to the WVR. This is due to WVR’s rule not to include songs that were not uploaded by their original producers; MELTDOWN’s producer is iroha(sasaki), while the new MELTDOWN video using the DVD PV was uploaded by nagimiso. The whole mess started because of the fact that iroha(sasaki) […]
In retrospect, while it is sad that GUMI doesn’t have as much songs as she should from the P’s in NND, I think it was still a fair turn of events. Otherwise, kz’s Crosslight wouldn’t be an epic album with an awesome COSMiCA single, and I wouldn’t ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT! This is the break GUMI […]
Right off the bat, lemme apologize for my extreme lateness in making this article. My ISP decided to be dead and, subsequently, poofed-out our cable and Internet… and now, for some other reason, I can’t view the video for WVR 99! What the Hell is wrong with me today!? Ehem, anyway, I’m viewing it on […]
I am seriously running out of things to say for my opening statements in these articles… I think it’s due to the slight decline of interest in Vocaloids from the community in general, which naturally affects me as well. Internet virtual idol-worship is such a tiny niche to fill, after all. It’s also part of […]
“See what happens when college consumes my time? Hopefully this won’t be the case next week (just pray to God my professors don’t give me a whole load of work to do).” -DK, on Weekly Vocaloid Ranking #96’s review Unfortunately, it was the case. Now I have a Thesis, a “Mini-Thesis”, and a JAVA program […]
【ニコニコ動画】週刊VOCALOIDランキング #96 T’is time for another edition of the WVR review! But… umm… unfortunately this is gonna be quite brief since I didn’t do prior research (I was busy with other stuff during the week), so I won’t delve too much into the new songs that made it to this week’s rankings. As a side note: […]
【ニコニコ動画】週刊VOCALOIDランキング #95 Another week, another review of WVR… Funny, it seems like only yesterday (looks at article below). Last week we saw GUMI going the way of her “brother,” Gakupo and many other Vocaloids who are not named Miku, Rin/Len or Luka. Seems like she’s destined to play second fiddle, which is very unfortunate (since I […]
【ニコニコ動画】週刊VOCALOIDランキング #94 Ahh… it is good to be back, after all. Well, as I promised, here I am reviewing the Weekly Vocaloid Ranking (which will henceforth be abbreviated to WVR) for the English Vocaloid community at large. The link above leads directly to the NND upload of said ranking and is for registered NND members only, […]
It seems as though the posting of Weekly Ranking reviews is now a sorta lost art to Vocaloidism. It all started way back in ArmyCats’ Vocaloid blog (with a full list of songs to boot!) but seems to have been lost in transition to this place. So allow me to (re)introduce myself. The name’s DK, […]
