As the release of CV03 is coming near, I’d like to show some more demos of her voice. Crypton made this song bilingual, as in combining English and Japanese. So in this demo video, you can clearly hear how this VOCALOID would sing a song with both English and Japanese lyrics. I love this song […]
【ニコニコ動画】【鏡音リン】 オメデトウ 【生誕祭】 A few hours ago, トラボルタP (toraborutaP) uploaded a new song for Kagamine Rin, entitled “Congratulations”. I completely missed it when I was writing my previous post, but this is トラボルタP (torabutaP)’s present for Kagamine Rin and Len’s birthday. It was uploaded on 00:00 AM, by the way. The song itself is awesome. […]
Happy birthday Kagamine Rin and Len! Our favorite twin is having their birthday today! It’s an important date for me, since without them, I wouldn’t know about VOCALOID now. I’m pretty sure that when you think of the best song for Kagamine Rin and Len, it’d be Kokoro. Recently, iroha’s song “Meltdown” came out and […]
It’s been a while since my RSS feed for vocaloidism hasn’t been updated.. I’ve found a very interesting MMD video on niconicodouga showing Miku’s hidden talent of juggling versus the alter-tsundere-ego Akita Neru. 【ニコニコ動画】【MMD】 ジャグリング中のミクがネルに襲われる
To get a VOCALOID Song Album that are sold to the public, we’d usually have to import them from Japan. Now, we can get them easily from Amazon US or the iTunes Store. Chocolate Train by Penguins Project feat. 初音ミク is now available for purchase at Amazon.com for $1.98. And three VOCALOID albums, トラボティック・ワールド by […]
Seems like Crypton would not make its 2008 release of CV03, since the official website now said “2009年1月リリース予定” or “January 2009 Release”. Not much information and no demo was released. Crypton said that it was due to a problem in developing CV03. Anyways, sorry for being inactive in the past week everyone, since I was […]
Remember Typenist? That great online Hatsune Miku Typing game? Yep, that’s Typenist. Recently, it reached 60,000 playcount and 200 songs (and counting). Kagamine Rin and Len participated in the SUPER […]
The December 2008 issue of the DTM magazine is out and as suspected, in the VOCALOID MANIACS section, is an article about the long-awaited CV03 by Crypton. This is a bit of an old news, and “Urotandah” is just my way of romanizing 卑怯戦隊うろたんだー. Urotandah is the second most popular VOCALOID song ever, just below Miku Miku ni Shiteageru. This song is sung by KAITO, MEIKO and Hatsune Miku. If you’ve been following the Weekly VOCALOID Rankings, you should be familiar with […]

I really won’t say much in this post other than… WOW. KAIKO finally have a KEI-style illustration, making it look official! These pictures should explain itself. By the way, she is drawn with MEIKO, not MEITO. For some reason their family name is the same, too… But I thought MEIKO’s fan family name is sakine? […]
We’ve always talked about Hatsune Miku and other VOCALOIDs. How about their Voice Actresses? I know that Asami Shimoda (Kagamine Rin and Len’s Voice Actress) is the voice of Ami Futami and Mami Futami (another twin) from THE iDOLM@STER, so you could find her albums everywhere and hear her real voice. How about Saki Fujita […]

The most popular software to program 3D animations for Miku, MikuMiku Dance (or usually known as MMD), is updated to Version 3. The biggest feature of this version is the “Multi-Model” feature. She’s allowed to be in the starting line, although she’ll not participate in the race. As some of you may know (if you’re following the […]

「moon」 is one of the old Miku songs, and from my point of view, it’s pretty good. But I’m not going to talk about the song for now. Let’s talk about the PV. Several months ago, nagimiso-san started to make a PV of this song. And yes, it’s incomplete. But then, he got more inspirations […]

Well, some of you who are reading my blog are probably more fluent in english, and so, it’ll be better to use the VOCALOID editor software in english. You’d probably already read about the “english patch/hack” on the internet for the VOCALOID editor, but the problem is, that it haven’t completely translated the whole thing […]
The VOCALOID Editor is compatible with many different formats such as the popular ReWire. Those of you who are using ReWire-supported applications such as Cubase, it’s strongly recommended to connect it to the VOCALOID editor. To be honest, I don’t really understand about the ReWire technology, so I can’t give any extra hints and tips […]
